  • 12oz (340g) Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon Orange Zest
  • 3/4 cup Lakanto Sweetener
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Place a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add all the ingredinets from the list.

Step 2

Simmer and stir every few minutes – until most of the berries pop. Mash them and remove from the heat.

Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours.

Adding Cinnamon

If you want to make this keto cranberry sauce extra special. try adding half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the mix.

Sweetener

Regular cranberry sauce is made with orange juice. But since we want to keep it low carb, we can use orange zest instead. This way, we get all the flavor of the orange juice without the added sugar.

If you want to make the texture of the low carb cranberry sauce extra thick, you can add a tiny bit of xanthan gum.

Simply mix 1/8 teaspoon of xanthan gum into the sauce after cooking. Be aware that too much xanthan gum can turn your sauce slimy, so use it sparingly.
