To make this tasty low carb bechamel sauce you will need:

  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 4.4oz (125g) Cream Cheese 
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Butter
  • nutmeg (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

⭐ Making Keto Bechamel Sauce

Follow this simple keto bechamel sauce recipe:

Step 1

Add the cream cheese, butter, heavy cream, and chicken stock to a saucepan.

Cook it over medium heat for about 1.5-2 minutes. Don’t let the mixture boil- it will change the texture.

Step 2

Place the egg yolk in a cup and pour a bit of warm sauce from the pan over it. Mix well with a fork.

Then, add the yolk mixture into the saucepan and stir for about 4 or 5 minutes (over low heat). At this point, the sauce will thicken.

Step 3
