For this keto spaghetti sauce recipe you will need:

  • 56oz (1.5kg) Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Basil
  • 2 stalks Celery (finely chopped)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt

🍝 Making Sugar Free Spaghetti Sauce

Easily make this low sugar spaghetti sauce at home! Follow this simple recipe:

Step 1

Add olive oil to a saucepan and place it over medium heat. When the oil is hot, put in the onion, celery, and garlic, cooking until they are soft.

Step 2

Add the rest of the components and raise the heat until the mixture is boiling. After that, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 40 minutes (covered).

Step 3

Remove the keto spaghetti sauce from the heat. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes, and then serve.

Freezing

You can freeze this sugar free spaghetti sauce, but the texture and taste won’t be as good as when it’s freshly made.

To freeze, make sure the sauce is cooled down completely and then transfer it to an airtight container. Label the container with the date and freeze for up to 3 months.

To thaw, place the container in the fridge overnight. Reheat in a pot over medium heat until warmed through. Enjoy!
