Freezing

The great thing about these homemade keto protein balls is that they can be stored in the freezer for a quick and easy snack.

Simply place them in a freezer-safe container and they will last for up to 2 months.

The texture may change a bit, but they will still be delicious! Make a big batch and enjoy these protein keto balls all month long.

Carbs

Each one of these low carb protein bites contains just 2 grams of net carbs. So, you can enjoy them in moderation.

Eat them with a good cup of coffee for breakfast or as a snack. If you want to take them to work or on a road trip, just pop them in a container and go!

Try Using Different Nuts

I rolled these low carb protein balls in chopped peanut pieces, but you could use any chopped nut that you like.

Pecans, pistachios, and even almonds would all be good choices. I’m planning on using pecans next time, I think this combination will be really good!

Using Collagen Protein Powder

To make these no carb protein balls I decided to use collagen protein powder. I love that collagen is flavorless and mixes so easily into recipes.

It’s also great for your skin, hair, nails, and joints. There are many brands of collagen protein powder on the market, all of them are pretty similar.

Choosing The Right Peanut Butter

To make the best keto protein balls, choose a creamy, all-natural peanut butter with no added sugar or salt.

Runny and watery peanut butter will make the balls difficult to form and may cause them to fall apart.
