Keto Protein Recipes

If you are following a keto diet and working out regularly, you are probably always on the lookout for new protein-rich recipes to help you meet your goals.

These low carb protein pancakes are the perfect way to start your day, or enjoy a post-workout meal.

Made with almond flour, protein powder, and other keto-friendly ingredients, these pancakes are high in protein and low in carbs, making them the perfect fuel for your body.

Generally speaking, if you eat enough meat on the keto diet, protein is not an issue.

However, sometimes it’s nice to mix things up and get your protein from other sources. This is where these keto protein pancakes come in!

Choosing The Right Protein Powder

There are hundreds of different protein powders on the market. All of them are perfect for these keto protein pancakes.

I chose to use a vanilla whey protein powder made by Myprotein, but you can use any protein powder that you like.

Other flavors that would be great in these pancakes are chocolate, strawberry, and banana.

Carbs

Each one of these low carb high protein pancakes contains 1.5g of net carbs, making them a perfect option for those following a keto diet. Eat them in moderation and enjoy.

But remember- carbs add up quickly! Don’tstart eating a pound of these things and think “oh, they’re just 1.5g each, I’ll be fine!”.

Texture

The texture of these healthy low carb protein pancakes is perfect! They are fluffy, and have just the right amount of density to them.

The outside has a slight crunch to it, while the inside is soft and fluffy. It’s really one of the best textures I’ve ever had in a low carb pancake!
