    I’ve tried many different ways to cook pork chops over the years, but using the air fryer has become my favorite method.

    It’s faster than the oven, doesn’t make a mess like pan-frying, and gives consistent results every time. If you don’t have an air fryer, don’t worry – I’ve included oven instructions too.

      Start by beating the egg in a medium bowl.

      Step 2

      In another bowl, mix the cheese, crushed pork rinds, pepper, salt, and garlic powder.

      Season the pork chops with additional salt and pepper on both sides. Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat it with the parmesan-pork rind mixture.

      Step 4

      Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Or preheat the oven to 380F. Place the coated pork chops in the air fryer basket.

      Step 5

      Cook in the air fryer at 375°F until lightly browned, about 7-8 minutes. Then flip the pork chops and air fry for an additional 4-5 minutes. Or bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Enjoy your delicious meal!

      1. Checking for Doneness

      To ensure that your  pork chops are cooked to perfection, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.

      Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the pork chop, making sure not to touch the bone (if using bone-in chops).

      The internal temperature should reach 145°F for medium-rare or 160°F for well-done. Keep in mind that the pork chops will continue to cook slightly after removing them from the air fryer.

      To achieve the perfect parmesan-pork rind coating, start by finely crushing the pork rinds (or use pork rind crumbs). You can use a food processor or place them in a resealable plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
