      💡Tips

      1. Achieving the Perfect Consistency

To ensure that your carnivore crab cakes have the perfect consistency and hold together well during cooking, it’s important to mix the ingredients thoroughly and form the patties correctly.

After combining all the ingredients (except the tallow or butter) in a bowl, use a fork gently mix everything until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can cause the crab meat to break apart and become mushy.

When forming the patties, use your hands to gently shape the mixture into two equal-sized cakes, pressing them together firmly to ensure they hold their shape.

      2. Properly Draining the Crab Meat

Before mixing the crab meat with the other ingredients, it’s important to properly drain any excess liquid from the can or container. Excess moisture can make it difficult for the crab cakes to hold their shape and can also dilute the flavors of the other ingredients.

To drain the crab meat, place it in a fine-mesh strainer or colander and gently press down on it with the back of a spoon or your hand to remove any liquid.
