      👨‍🍳 How To Make

Follow this easy carnivore bread recipe:

      Step 1

Start by preheating your oven to 320°F (160°C). While it heats, separate the eggs. The whites go into a large mixing bowl, while the yolks go into a smaller bowl.

      Step 2

Add the salt and cream of tartar to the whites. Use an electric whisk to whip them on low speed, and then on high speed until peaks form.

      Step 3

Mix the remaining dry ingredients. Sift half over the egg whites and whip to combine well. Then, add the remaining half.

      Step 4

Continue to whip until the mixture becomes dense.

Use the same whisk and whip the egg yolks until they become creamy.

      Step 6

Using a silicone spatula, add the whipped yolks to the whipped egg whites and combine them using an electric whisk until the batter is thick.

      Step 7

Pour half of the batter into a 2lb silicone loaf mold. Remove air pockets by banging it on the worktop. Then, fill with the remaining batter.

      💡Tips

      1. Room Temperature Ingredients

For the best volume when whipping egg whites, bring them to room temperature before you start. Take the eggs out of the fridge about 30 minutes before you plan to start cooking.

Also, make sure your mixing bowl and beaters are completely clean and dry. Any traces of fat (including from egg yolks) can prevent the whites from whipping up properly.

Some bakers even wipe their bowl and beaters with a little lemon juice or vinegar to ensure they’re grease free. When you start whipping, begin on a low speed to break up the whites, then gradually increase to high.

      2. Cooling Time

It might be tempting to slice into your bread as soon as it comes out of the oven, but allowing it to cool properly is crucial for the best texture. When you first remove the bread from the oven, let it sit in the pan for about 10 minutes.

This allows it to set up a bit and makes it easier to remove from the pan without breaking. Then, carefully remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. This could take an hour or more.

      1. Hi! I was Wondering if I could omit the whey protein powder and maybe do collagen peptides instead? Or a different substitute for the whey? Thank you!

This egg bread is fantastic. Flavorful, light but foam like, crisp crust ( it’s light but it is crisp). Delicious and the best recipe I’ve eaten in my efforts to get low carb, high protein, low calorie(!!!) bread. I live at high altitude and the other egg white bread recipes are extremely dry. Not sure why but thought that might be a factor.
One question. Could I double this recipe to get a larger loaf? This single recipe weighs 7.43 ounces and I’d like a one pound loaf to reduce baking days. Not hard to eat half a loaf for breakfast!
Thanks for your efforts and for posting this recipe.

So I’ve seen this recipe for this particular bread on a few different platforms.
All dame ingredients just slightly different measurements.
I went ahead and ordered everything I needed (probably not the same ad yours but nonetheless I got the ingredients the recipes called for)
Firstly one must note that I have got my kids on all carnivore diet too, well mostly carnivore bur one would probably call it animal based with a few veg and fruits nor alot very limited.

However the “egg bread” recipe that I have been using for some years now I can no longer use because there are some kids in my kids classes who are sesame seeds allergic uuuughhh ok well anyway let’s look for a different recipe.

That’s where this one come in.

The kids and my husband were very Sus over the ingredients.
        But once made and tried.
They all aprove hands down fantastic.

Ok so it doesn’t look so pretty.
        But that’s ok.
The kids like it and are super excited to have it in thier lunchbox come the new school year.

My son is even more excited as it has the added protine.

I rate this a definite winner for carnivore diet.

Win win chicken din din 😋
