Looking for a cool treat that fits with your carnivore diet? These carnivore creamy popsicles might be just what you need.

Carnivore Creamy Popsicles

They combine the richness of mascarpone cheese with heavy cream and a hint of cocoa for a satisfying frozen dessert that doesn’t break your diet rules.

My Carnivore Cookbook

Most popsicles are full of sugar and fruit, which aren’t part of the carnivore approach. These popsicles solve that problem by using animal based ingredients while still giving you that cold, sweet experience.

    Carnivore Creamy Popsicles Recipe

Making these popsicles is straightforward. You’ll heat some of the ingredients, cool them down, blend in the mascarpone, and then freeze the mixture.

The hardest part is waiting overnight for them to freeze completely. But trust me, they’re worth the wait.

👍 Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Perfect Summer Treat: These popsicles are ideal for hot summer days when you want something cold but need to stay true to your carnivore lifestyle.

Unlike regular popsicles that are loaded with sugar and artificial ingredients, these creamy treats use animal based ingredients that won’t kick you out of your diet.

    Zero Carb Creamy Popsicles

Simple Ingredients: This recipe only needs five basic ingredients that are easy to find. Milk, mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, vanilla powder, and a small amount of cocoa powder – that’s it!

No need to hunt down strange ingredients or order special products online. Most of these items are probably already in your kitchen if you follow a carnivore diet.

Quick Preparation: The actual hands on time for this recipe is less than 30 minutes. You just heat some ingredients, let them cool, blend everything together, and pour into molds. Most of the “cooking” time is just waiting for them to freeze overnight.

    ✨ Recipe Ingredients

To make these tasty carnivore creamy popsicles you will need:

    • 5.5 oz (155 g) Milk
    • 5.5 oz (155 g) Mascarpone Cheese
    • 5.5 oz (155 g) Heavy Whipping Cream
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Powder
    • 3/4 teaspoon Cocoa Powder (unsweetened) (use this powder – amazon link)

note: cocoa powder is not carnivore friendly. But- we use less than a teaspoon of it! As long as you are NOT on a strict carnivore diet- it shouldn’t be a problem (as long as it’s a treat you eat occasionally and not daily). You can also try this recipe without the cocoa powder.

      💡Tips

      1. Don’t Rush the Heating Process

When combining the milk, cocoa powder, heavy cream, and vanilla, always use low heat and stir constantly.

If you rush this step by using high heat, the dairy can scorch and develop a burnt taste that will ruin your popsicles. The mixture should warm gradually until everything is well incorporated.

You’ll know it’s ready when the cocoa powder has fully dissolved with no visible specks and the mixture has a smooth, even color.

This usually takes about 5-7 minutes of gentle heating and stirring. Some people find using a silicone whisk helps prevent scratching the pot while still mixing well.

      2. Cool Completely Before Adding Mascarpone

The recipe calls for cooling the heated mixture for 20 minutes before adding the mascarpone cheese, and this timing is important. If the mixture is still too warm when you add the mascarpone, the cheese can separate or become grainy.

For best results, let the mixture cool until it’s just slightly warm to the touch, not hot. If you’re in a hurry, you can speed up this process by placing the pot in an ice bath, stirring occasionally until it reaches the right temperature.

The cooled mixture should feel comfortable when you dip your finger in it – neither hot nor cold. This patience ensures your mascarpone will blend smoothly and create the silky texture that makes these popsicles special.

      3. The Unmolding Trick

Getting the popsicles out of the molds can sometimes be tricky. For easy release, dip the outside of the mold in warm (not hot) water for about 10 seconds, making sure no water gets inside the mold.

This slightly melts the outer layer of the popsicle and helps it slip out cleanly. Pull gently and evenly on the stick – if there’s resistance, dip in warm water for a few more seconds.

Once removed, you can place the popsicles on a parchment-lined tray and return to the freezer for 10-15 minutes to firm up any softening that occurred during the unmolding process.
