You won’t believe these delicious carnivore cheese danishes are made without any flour or sugar!
I’ve been working on this recipe for weeks, trying to create something that reminds me of those bakery cheese danishes we all love, but in a way that fits perfectly into a carnivore diet.
These cheese danishes have become my go to breakfast option when I want something that feels a bit special.
They’re rich and satisfying, with a creamy cheese filling that melts in your mouth. The eggbased dough creates a surprisingly light and airy base that works perfectly with the cream cheese.
You just need some basic carnivore friendly ingredients like eggs, cream cheese, and unflavored whey protein. The stevia drops add just the right amount of sweetness without breaking your carnivore lifestyle.

👨🍳 How To Make
Follow this easy recipe:
Step 1
Start by preheating the oven to 325°F and lining two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2
Add the cream cheese, egg yolk, and vanilla stevia to a medium bowl. Mix well and then transfer to a pastry bag.
Step 3
Separate the eggs – placing the egg whites in one bowl and the yolks in another. Then, add 3 oz cream cheese, stevia drops, and whey protein to the yolks. Mix until smooth.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
Step 5
Fold the yolk mixture into the beaten whites (do so gently – you want it to be airy!). Use a rubber spatula and be careful.
Step 6
Now for the fun part: Spoon 12 mounds of the egg batter onto the baking sheets (6 on each), and flatten them slightly.
Pipe the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each one and bake at 325°F for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
💡Tips
1. Room Temperature Ingredients
Your cream cheese needs to be properly softened before you start – this is super important! Take both portions of cream cheese out of the fridge at least 2 hours before baking.
When cream cheese is truly at room temperature, it mixes smoothly without any lumps. If you press your finger into it, it should leave an easy indent.
Cold cream cheese will give you lumpy filling and dough that’s hard to work with. If you’re in a hurry, cut the cream cheese into small cubes to speed up the softening process.
2. The Egg White Peaks
Getting the egg whites right is key to making these danishes light and fluffy. When you’re beating them with the cream of tartar, don’t rush this step.
Start with a clean, dry bowl (any bit of grease or water can prevent proper whipping). Beat on medium speed until you see soft peaks, then increase to high speed.
You want stiff peaks that stand straight up when you lift the beater – they should look glossy and not grainy.
3. The Cooling Process
Let these cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes after taking them out of the oven – they’re very delicate when hot. Then move them to a cooling rack.
They might sink slightly in the middle as they cool – this is normal and actually creates a perfect little spot for the filling to settle.

FAQ
1. Can I make these without stevia?
Yes, you can skip the stevia completely if you prefer! The danishes will still have a natural sweetness from the cream cheese.
If you want some sweetness but don’t have stevia drops, you can use monk fruit drops instead – they work just as well.
2. My danishes browned too quickly – what went wrong?
If your danishes are browning too fast on the outside while staying undercooked inside, your oven is probably running too hot.
Even if your oven dial says 325°F, the actual temperature might be higher. An oven thermometer is really helpful here.
Also, make sure you’re baking in the middle rack position – too close to the top or bottom can cause uneven browning.

Good but I use liquid Allulose for sweetner, the only sweetner that does not spike my blood sugar.
