    Carnivore Mayo Parmesan Chicken Recipe

It’s the kind of dish that works well for both everyday dinners and when you have guests over.

The best part about this recipe is that it uses ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. You don’t need any special cooking skills or complicated techniques to make it.

Just mix a few ingredients, spread them over the chicken, and let your oven do the work. The result is always consistent and reliable. Let’s get started!

👍 Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Juicy Meat: The mayonnaise coating acts like a “protective” layer around the chicken, keeping it incredibly juicy and preventing that dreaded dry texture that often happens with chicken breasts.

Great for Meal Prep: Unlike many chicken recipes that dry out when reheated, this one stays juicy even after being stored in the fridge. You can make a big batch and enjoy it throughout the week.

Quick Prep Time: The preparation takes less than 10 minutes – just mix the mayo with cheese and seasonings, spread it over the chicken, and it’s ready for the oven. No chopping, no marinating, no complicated steps.

Flavor-Packed: Despite using a handful of ingredients, this recipe delivers amazing flavor. The combination of parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning creates a savory, satisfying taste that proves carnivore meals don’t have to be bland.

      👨‍🍳 How To Make

      Follow this easy recipe:

      Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking dish (I used a 9×13-inch one) with melted butter or cooking spray.

      Step 2

Place the chicken breasts in the dish, then season them with salt and pepper.

      Step 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings until well combined.

      Step 4

Add the mayonnaise mixture over the chicken in dollops. Then, use a spatula to spread and cover the chicken completely.

      Step 5

Bake for 23-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

      💡Tips

      1. Room Temperature Chicken

Take your chicken breasts out of the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking. Room temperature chicken cooks more evenly than cold chicken straight from the fridge.

When the chicken is too cold, the outside might get done while the inside stays undercooked. This is especially important for this recipe because we’re cooking at a higher temperature (400°F).

      2. The Right Mayo Matters

Use full-fat, good quality mayonnaise for this recipe. Low-fat mayo doesn’t work well because it can separate during cooking and won’t create that protective layer that keeps the chicken moist.

Also, make sure to spread the mayo mixture evenly and thickly enough – about 1/4 inch thick on all sides.

      FAQ

      1. Can I use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts?

Yes, you can absolutely use chicken thighs! Boneless, skinless chicken thighs work great with this recipe. They’re actually more forgiving than chicken breasts. If using thighs, you’ll need to adjust the cooking time – they usually take about 3-4 minutes longer.

      2. Why did my topping slide off during cooking?

First, make sure your chicken is patted completely dry before adding the mayo mixture – any moisture will make the topping slip off.

Also, press the mixture firmly onto the chicken rather than just laying it on top. And, make sure your mayo mixture isn’t too thick – it should be spreadable.
