      👨‍🍳 How To Make

      Follow this easy recipe:

      Step 1

Start by preheating the oven to 375°F.

      Step 2

Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef. Set aside for now.

      Step 3

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheese, heavy cream, and seasonings.

      Step 4

Spread the ground beef in the bottom of a baking dish (I used an 8×12-inch one). Pour the egg mixture over the meat.

      Step 5

Bake for about 30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is browned. Then, remove from the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes, and serve.

      💡Tips

      1. Don’t Overmix

When combining the egg mixture with your other ingredients, mix just until everything is evenly combined. If you mix too much, the casserole can become tough and rubbery.

Gentle mixing helps keep the final texture light and fluffy. You’ll know you’ve mixed enough when you don’t see any streaks of egg whites or unmixed cream, but stop before it starts getting foamy.

      2. Watch Your Baking Time

The exact cooking time can vary depending on your oven and the depth of your baking dish. Start checking your casserole at around 25 minutes.

The top should be lightly golden brown, and the center should be set but still have a slight jiggle – like a cheesecake.

If you insert a knife in the center, it should come out clean. If the top is browning too quickly but the center isn’t set, cover it loosely with foil and continue baking.

      FAQ

      My casserole came out watery.

Make sure you’re draining the ground beef well after browning it – excess fat can make the casserole watery.

Also , make sure your oven temperature is correct – if it’s too low, the eggs won’t set properly.
