      Follow these steps to make this amazing carnivore friendly lasagna:

      Prepare the base: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, whisk 5 eggs with 1 tablespoon of gelatin. Make sure they are well combined.

      Line a baking tray with parchment paper, pour the egg mixture over it, and spread evenly. Bake for 15 minutes or until set.

      Cold eggs can lead to uneven cooking and might make your layers too rubbery. This is especially important for the egg base since it’s the foundation of our lasagna.

      If you’re in a hurry, you can place the eggs in warm (not hot) water for about 5-10 minutes to speed up the process.

      2. Watch Your Oven Temperature

      Every oven is different, so keep a close eye on the egg base while it’s baking. The goal is to get it firm enough to handle but not overcooked and rubbery.

      Start checking at the 12-minute mark. The egg base should be set but still slightly soft in the middle – it will continue cooking slightly after you take it out. If your oven has hot spots, rotate the tray halfway through baking for even cooking.
