Low Carb Chocolate Chips

To make these keto chocolate muffins, I used Lily’s chocolate chips. Lily’s makes stevia-sweetened chocolate chips that are perfect for baking.

I use them in many of my keto desserts and they work great! There are a few other brands of stevia-sweetened chocolate chips on the market, so feel free to use whatever you can find.

You can also use dark chocolate chips instead, but they won’t be as sweet. If using dark chocolate, you may want to add a little extra sweetener to the recipe.

Using Almond Flour

I made these sugar free chocolate muffins with almond flour and not coconut flour because in my opinion, almond flour allows for a moister muffin.

And the result is a very fudgy, brownie-like chocolate muffin that is perfect for breakfast or a snack.

I use almond flour is so many of my keto baking recipes because it’s just so versatile.

You can make so many different types of keto desserts with it like brownies, cookies, and cakes. This flour is low in carbs, making it perfect for those on a keto diet.

Low Carb Maple Syrup

To make these low carb chocolate muffins taste extra amazing, I added Lakanato’s Maple Syrup. It has a really intense maple flavor, and many use it to make amazing keto desserts.

I highly recommend it if you want to get that delicious maple flavor in these keto chocolate muffins.

Carbs

Each one of these almond flour chocolate muffins contains about 5.5g of net carbs. It’s not the lowest carb muffin recipe that I’ve ever made but it’s definitely a keto-friendly recipe. Eat them in moderation and enjoy.
