The texture of this pizza might surprise you. While it’s not exactly like traditional pizza crust, it holds together perfectly and creates a solid base for all your favorite toppings.

The cheese helps bind everything together, while the eggs give it structure. When baked correctly, it becomes firm enough to hold with your hands, just like regular pizza.

👍 Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Zero Carbs: Finding truly zero carb pizza alternatives isn’t easy. Most keto pizza crusts still contain some form of fiber or plant ingredients. This recipe is 100% carnivore approved with absolutely no plants or carbs in sight.

Great Texture: Unlike many alternative pizza crusts that fall apart or become soggy, this tuna crust holds together beautifully.

Easily make canned tuna pizza crust. Follow these steps:

      Step 1

Start by preheating the oven to 350F (175C) and draining the canned tuna – you want it as dry as possible.

      Step 2

Flatten the tuna on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes to dry it out.

      Step 3

Then, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Add the grated cheese and 2 eggs. Mix well, and then flatten the mixture on the baking sheet into a pizza shape.

      💡Tips

      1. Get Perfect Results

This crust needs to be as dry as possible before baking. When draining your tuna, press it really hard with a fork against the strainer or colander.

If you have time, you can even spread the tuna on paper towels and press down to remove extra moisture.

This step is super important because too much moisture will make your crust soggy and prevent it from getting crispy around the edges.

      2. Let It Rest

After the first bake, let your crust cool for about 2-3 minutes before adding toppings.

This brief rest allows the eggs to set up properly and helps prevent a soggy middle. During this time, the crust will also become firmer and easier to handle.

      3. Don’t Overload The Toppings

It’s tempting to pile on lots of toppings, but remember – this isn’t a regular pizza crust. Keep your toppings on the lighter side, especially heavy ones like extra cheese or meat.

Too many toppings can make the crust soggy or cause it to break when you try to pick it up. A good rule is to use no more than 1/2 cup of additional cheese and about 1/3 cup of meat toppings.
