Optional: 3/4 teaspoon Paprika, 3/4 tablespoon Garlic (minced), 3/4 teaspoon Oregano, 1 teaspoon Cumin. Omit for strict carnivore diet.You can also add other seasonings
Instructions
Start by preheating the oven to 350°F.
Combine all the dry seasonings in a small bowl. Spread the mixture all over the beef roast.
Add the butter or tallow to a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chuck roast in the hot pan. Sear it for 5 minutes on each side.
Line a baking dish with a sheet of aluminum foil. Add the beef stock and apple cider vinegar. Place the seared roast in the baking dish with all the liquid.
Cover the baking dish with more aluminum foil, and bake at 350°F for 3 1/2 hours. Remove from the oven, and leave it covered for an hour. Use a fork to shred and pull the meat. Enjoy!
