1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (read note) (I recommend adding this powder [amazon]- it's AMAZING)
2 teaspoon Oregano (read note)
1/2teaspoon Onion Powder (read note)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a muffin tray with cooking oil. Alternatively, you can grease the tray with melted butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole egg and egg whites. Beat the eggs together using a whisk until well-combined.
Add the spices to the egg mixture and whisk until evenly distributed.
Carefully pour the egg mixture into the prepared muffin tins, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each muffin, and then place a pepperoni slice on top of the cheese for each muffin.
Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, or until the egg muffins are fully cooked in the center and the tops have turned golden brown.Remove the muffin tray from the oven and let the muffins cool for a few minutes before removing them from the tray. Serve the muffins warm and enjoy your delicious carniore breakfast or snack!
Notes
Note: Strictly speaking, garlic powder, oregano, and onion powder aren’t part of the carnivore diet. But for this recipe, I’m only using a tiny bit. If you’re not sticking to a super strict carnivore diet, it shouldn’t be an issue, just don’t go making this every single day.
