Thin Crumbled Bacon
Cook bacon until crisp, break into small pieces by hand. Further crumble using a spoon tip in a mortar
Instructions
Start by preheating the oven to 350°F and beating the eggs lightly in a bowl.
Heat the milk, cream, and honey (if using) in a pan until it’s close to boiling.
Pour the hot mixture over the beaten eggs and stir continuously.
Now strain the mixture through a sieve into an oven-proof dish (I used a 650ml one). Or use 3-4 small ramekins.
Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes. It will wobble in the center a bit. Reduce the temperature if it starts burning.
Add the crumbled bacon on top and bake for 25-35 more minutes until cooked through. Then, remove from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
