Notes
Space Them OutLeave roughly an inch between cookies on the tray so hot air can flow around each one. If they won’t all fit, use a second tray or bake another batch instead of crowding them.Cool CompletelyLet the cookies rest on the tray for at least 15 minutes—or better yet, until they’re fully cool. They firm up as they sit and can crumble if moved too soon. Once cool, store them in an airtight container.atch the Baking TimeStart checking at 12 minutes. When the edges turn light golden, take the tray out. The centres may look soft but will set as they cool. If you like them crisp, leave them in for an extra minute, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
