Instructions
Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings in a bowl.
Divide the seasoned beef into 5 portions and shape each into a patty. Place a piece of cheese (or a 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese) and a small piece of butter in the center of each patty, then seal the fillings inside by forming the meat around them.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter.
Fry the stuffed patties until cooked to your preferred doneness, being careful not to overcook. I also like adding grated cheese on top and allowing it to melt. You can also bake them in the oven instead of frying.
