Keto Cheddar Cheese Sauce

Instructions
Start by heating a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
Stir in the whipping cream, pepper, salt, and minced garlic (if using it. it’s optional). Mix everything together.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese in batches until it’s melted. Stir to avoid clumping. This will take about 2 minutes at most.
Heat the sauce to a simmer but make sure it doesn’t boil – this is super important, then remove it from the heat.
Allow the sauce to cool – it will continue thickening. Enjoy!
