Add the butter to a large frying pan over low heat and melt it.
Add the milk powder, wait about 10 seconds, and then start stirring gently. Add the vanilla extract and stir again.
Continue cooking on low heat until the solids turn a deep golden brown. It’s very important to keep stirring every few minutes. This process will take approximately 40 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat, then strain the mixture.
Allow the crumbles to cool off, break any large clumps as they cool. Store the crumbles in the fridge and enjoy!
