Instructions
Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings in a bowl.
Divide the seasoned beef into 5 portions and shape each into a patty. Place a piece of cheese (or a 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese) and a small piece of butter in the center of each patty, then seal the fillings inside by forming the meat around them.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter (or preheat the oven to 400F if you are going to bake them).
Fry the stuffed patties until cooked (to your preferred doneness) or bake in the oven. You can also add grated cheese on top and allow it to melt.
