For a very long time, I was looking for a good sugar free chocolate ice cream recipe. I tried many different recipes, but only a few of them were good.

For this chocolate keto ice cream recipe you will need:

1 1/2 cups Coconut Milk – The coconut milk you are looking for should be in a carton. Canned coconut milk will not work for this recipe. 

1/4 cup Cocoa Powder- For the richest chocolate taste, look for unsweetened organic cocoa.

1 cup Heavy Cream – Choose high-fat and high-quality heavy cream without added preservatives. This will really make a difference.

5 Egg Yolks

1/2 cup Monk Fruit Sweetener (preferably with Allulose)

1 pinch Salt

🍦 Keto Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe

This amazing low carb chocolate ice cream is delicious and easy to make. Just follow these steps:

Step 1

In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, Monk Fruit, and salt . Then, set the bowl aside.

Step 2

Take a new saucepan and whisk coconut milk, cream, and cocoa powder. Heat everything over medium heat.

 When it simmers – it’s time to remove from the heat.

Step 3

Slowly pour the cream from the previous step into the egg yolk mixture and whisk.

Step 4

Heat the combined custard mixture again, and once it’s smooth, transfer everything back to the saucepan. Heat over low heat for a few minutes until it reaches 175F.

Cover the mixture and leave it in the fridge for at least 4.5 hours.

Step 6

Pour the custard into an ice maker bowl and churn. Once the texture is soft enough to your liking, remove it from the machine.

Freeze for a few hours and then serve. Enjoy!
