🍬 How To Make Sugar Free Twix

These keto twix bars are very easy to make:

Step 1

To begin, set your oven to the required temperature of 350F (around 180C).

Now – let’s prepare the shortbread base. In a bowl, whisk together the almond flour, egg, and vanilla extract.

Roll the dough out onto a flat surface between two sheets of baking paper.

Step 2

Bake the dish for approximately 25 minutes or until the desired level of browning is achieved.

Step 3

Making the caramel is easy. Bring the coconut milk and fibre syrup to a boil.

Then, let it bubble (don’t forget to reduce the heat a bit). When you see it is reduced by 30-40%, it’s done.

Step 4

Let the shortbread cool down for at least 15 minutes after removing it from the oven.

Then, evenly spread the caramel over the base and let it cool in the fridge for 20 minutes so it can solidify.

Step 5

To make the chocolate topping, heat coconut oil in a pan until it becomes liquid (a few seconds).

Add the cacao powder, dark chocolate, and 1 tablespoon of fibre syrup.

Pour it over the caramel layer. Let it rest in the fridge for 30-40 minutes. Cut into bars – and it’s ready! Yummy!

Can You Freeze These Keto Twix Bars?

Yes, freezing is possible but I would not recommend freezing them as they will lose some of their flavors and become a little more crumbly.

These are so easy to make, just make new batch when you want more.
