💡Tips

1. Adjusting the Consistency

When you’re mixing the ingredients for the truffle centers, pay close attention to the texture. You want a consistency that’s firm enough to hold its shape but still pliable enough to roll into balls.

If your mixture feels too dry, don’t be afraid to add a little water, as suggested in the recipe. Start with just a teaspoon at a time, mixing well after each addition.

On the other hand, if the mixture seems too wet or sticky, you can add a bit more peanut butter powder to firm it up. The goal is to have a dough-like consistency that you can easily shape.

2. Perfecting the Chocolate Coating

When it comes to melting the chocolate chips for coating, take your time and do it gradually. Microwave in short bursts of 15-20 seconds, stirring well between each burst. This prevents the chocolate from overheating or burning.

If you find that your melted chocolate is too thick for easy dipping, you can add a small amount of coconut oil or unsalted butter (about 1 teaspoon per 1/4 cup of chips) to thin it out. This will also give your coating a nice shine.
