🥜 Making Low Carb Peanut Butter Bread

Follow this easy keto peanut butter bread recipe:

Step 1

Start by preheating your oven to 400F (200C) and lining a 9x*5 inch loaf pan (or similar size) with parchment paper.

Then, attach the S blade to the food processor. Add these ingredients: almond milk (room temperature), peanut butter, vanilla, eggs, and sweetener.

Step 2

Blend until the mixture is smooth (50-60 seconds). Add the apple cider vinegar, almond flour, and baking powder. Blend again at medium speed until the mixture is well combined (about 50 seconds).

Step 3

Add the psyllium husk and blend again on medium speed for 40-45 seconds until well combined and the dough forms.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes, until the bread sets in the center. After 15 minutes, wrap the loaf pan with foil (it will prevent the top from burning).

Step 5

After removing the pan from the oven – let it cool for at least 15 minutes. Then, use a knife to loosen the sides, and pull out the bread.

That’s it! Enjoy this tasty keto peanut butter bread! It’s so easy to make, and it tastes amazing!

Almond Flour

The main ingredient in keto peanut butter bread is almond flour. I use almond flour in SO MANY of my recipes.

It’s one of the best low carb flour alternatives and it’s perfect for making delicious keto bread.

Unlike traditional wheat flour, almond flour is gluten free which makes this recipe suitable for those with gluten intolerance.

Peanut Butter

Make sure to use natural peanut butter without added sugars or oils. There are many great brands that offer 100% natural peanut butter. Always read the labels to make sure the only ingredient is peanuts.

Almond Milk

I added a whole cup of almond milk to the almond flour peanut butter bread to make it less dense.

I want the texture of the bread to be moist and fluffy. And the almond milk helps to accomplish this.

Whole Psyllium Husk

I added the whole psyllium husk to improve the texture of the bead. Make sure to use whole psyllium husk and not any other forms.

Keto Peanut Butter Banana Bread

You can add a few drops of banana extract to make this bread even more flavorful.

There are so many brands out there that make high quality extracts, and the banana extract is definitely one of the most popular.

Freezing

You can definitely freeze the low carb peanut butter bread for later use. Simply let the bread cool completely, wrap it in plastic, and store
it in a freezer bag or other airtight container.

When you are ready to eat it, thaw it at room temperature. The texture won’t be as nice as fresh, but it will still taste delicious.

Carbs

If you slice this bread into 14 slices, each slice will have about 4.5g of net carbs. Not the lowest, but if you eat it in moderation, it can definitely fit into a low carb keto diet.
