To make this perfect low carb egg white bread you will need:

  • 11 large Egg Whites
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Flour
  • 1 cup Almond Flour – Use this almond flour (Amazon link) for this recipe.
  • 1/3 cup Butter (melted)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Xanthan Gum – Use this Xanthan Gum (Amazon link).

🍞 Making Keto Egg White Bread

Making keto bread with egg white is super easy! Just follow these steps:

Step 1

Start by preheating your oven to 330F (165C) and lining a 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

Then, place the coconut flour, almond flour, baking powder, salt, and xanthan gum in a food processor. Blend and pulse until the mixture is well combined.

Step 2

Add the melted butter and pulse again.

Step 3

Take another large bowl, and using a hand mixer- beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Step 4

Add about half of the egg whites mixture into the food processor and pulse until combined (it’s important to avoid over-mixing because the texture will change).

Step 5

Transfer the mixture from the food processor into the remaining egg whites, and fold until no streaks remain. The more fluffy the mixture is- the better.

Step 6

Place the batter in the lined loaf pan. Bake for about 35-40 minutes and once the top changes color and becomes golden brown, cover the loaf pan with aluminum foil.

Then, bake for additional 30 minutes. The top should be firm and the internal temp around 195F. Remove from the oven.

Allow the keto egg white bread to cool completely before removing it from the pan and slicing.
