      👨‍🍳 How To Make

      Follow this easy recipe:

      Step 1

Pat the shrimp dry using paper towels.

      Step 2

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the shrimp. The marinade should have a thick consistency at this point.

      Step 3

Coat the shrimp evenly with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 1 hour.

      Step 4

      Air Frying

Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C). Brush the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking. Place the marinated shrimp in the basket in a single layer. Air fry the shrimp for 5-6 minutes or until they are cooked through and slightly crispy.

      Skillet

Melt beef tallow or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the fat is hot, place the marinated shrimp in the skillet. Cook the shrimp for about 1 minute on each side or until they turn pink and are cooked through.

      💡Tips

      1. Marinating Time

For the best results, allow the shrimp to marinate for at least an hour, or even overnight if possible. This will give the flavors time to penetrate the shrimp, resulting in a more flavorful and tender shrimp.

If you’re short on time, try to marinate for at least 30 minutes, but keep in mind that longer marinating times will always give better results.

      2. Pat Those Shrimp Really Dry

Take your time patting the shrimp dry with paper towels before adding them to the marinade. Any extra moisture will make the marinade too thin and prevent it from sticking properly to the shrimp.

Work in batches if needed, and keep patting until the paper towels come away nearly dry. This step might seem small, but it makes a huge difference in how well the marinade coats and sticks to the shrimp during cooking.

      FAQ

What size shrimp should I use?

Medium to large shrimp work best for this recipe (21-25 or 26-30 per pound). These sizes are big enough to not overcook quickly but small enough to get well-coated with the marinade.
