This time I decided to make the perfect carnivore omelette, and it was absolutely delicious! This omelette is made with simple ingredients, but the combination of flavors is extraordinary.

This is the perfect breakfast for those who enjoy a hearty meal. This dish is also high in protein and fat, so it will keep you fueled for the day.

To make the perfect low carb omelette you will need:

  • 4oz (115g) Ground Beef
  • 2 (60g) oz Shredded Cheese
  • 2 Eggs (whisked)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Onion (sliced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 3/4 tablespoon Butter / Ghee

✨ Making Carnivore Omelet

Follow these steps and make the perfect carnivore diet omelette:

Step 1

Place a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Saute the sliced onions for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Add ground beef and cook it until it’s browned. Mix it well with the onions. When finished, set the mixture aside.

Step 3

In a small mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, smoked paprika, and salt. Pour the mixture into the pan and allow the eggs to set (2-3 minutes).

Place the meat over one-half of the eggs. Add cheese on top and fold the omelette. Top with more cheese, and then cook with the lid covered for 2-3 minutes.

Allow the omelette to cool for at least 5 minutes, and then serve! Enjoy this tasty and easy carnivore omelette recipe!

80/20 ground beef is the perfect base for a carnivore omelette. You can use leaner or fattier ground beef depending on your preference.

Keep in mind that if you use very lean beef, the omelette won’t be as juicy or flavorful.

You can also use lamb or pork instead of beef. Next time, I am planning on making this omelette with 50% ground beef and 50% ground lamb.

Shredded Cheese

You can use any kind of shredded cheese you like for this carnivore omelette. I used mozzarella and cheddar for this recipe. Try mixing different cheeses like Gruyere, Swiss or Gouda for a unique flavour.

You can also add a bit of blue cheese to the omelette for a more intense flavour.

I really like Gorgonzola and I think it would go great with this omelette. Gorgonzola is not cheap, but in my opinion, it is worth every penny.

Smoked Paprika

I really like adding smoked paprika to my recipes. It adds such a great smokey flavor to the dish and pairs so well with the eggs in this carnivore omelet.

Onions

Onions are not carnivore friendly- but, if you are not following a strict carnivore diet, they can add a great flavour to your omelette! Make sure to slice them very thinly for a perfect texture.
