Step 3

Place an immersion blender into the bottom of the jar, touching the egg. Blend on low speed for 15-20 seconds (don’t raise the blender).

At this point, most of the mixture will be white. Power on the blender again and slowly raise it without taking it out of the jar.

Then, move back toward the bottom. Repeat this process a few times until the final product is thick like mayonnaise.
