This air fryer chicken bites recipe is one of my go-to meals for a quick and easy dinner.

Plus, the best part, it’s actually healthy! This is a low carb and keto friendly recipe. It’s also gluten free, I am using pork rinds as the breading.

To make these airfryer chicken bites you will need:

  • 1 lb (450g) Chicken Breast
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 3oz (85g) Pork Rinds
  • 1/4 cup Keto Friendly Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

⭐ Making Air Fried Chicken Bites 

Make the perfect airfryer chicken bites! Follow this simple recipe:

Step 1

Start by spraying the air fry basket and preheating the air fryer to 380F (190C).

Then, crush the pork rinds (you can use the food processor).

Step 2

Place the crushed pork rinds in a bowl and mix with all the spices and Parmesan cheese.

Step 3

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces (bite-sized). Place them in a bowl, add the mayonnaise, and mix well – covering the chicken bites completely and evenly.

Step 4

Take each piece of chicken and roll it in the bowl with the pork rind crumbs. Then, place in the air fryer basket.

Cook for about 15 minutes in the air fryer, or until the air fryer chicken bites are crispy.

Chicken Breast

I really like chicken, and looking for new ways to make it. Recently I had an idea- to use my air fryer to make chicken bites!

This turned out to be an absolute winner. My airfryer chicken bites recipe is not only simple, but it tastes great too. And most importantly- this recipe is 100% keto friendly.

You can also try using pork meat instead of chicken, if you prefer. The bites will taste different, but the seasonings and the breading still work perfectly.

Parmesan Cheese

I added the Parmesan cheese to the breading mixture because it adds flavor and improves the texture of the air fryer chicken bites.

Pork Rinds

I used pork rinds instead of regular breading for my air fryer chicken bites. They work perfectly in the air fryer and give the chicken bites a nice crunch.

Since this is a low carb recipe, you can’t use regular breading, so pork rinds are a great alternative.

I use pork rinds in so many of my recipes. Here are a few of my favorite ones: Keto Pork Cutlets, Keto Mozzarella Sticks, and Air Fryer Tuna Patties.

Seasonings

To make these keto air fryer chicken bites- I used my favorite combination of seasonings.

You can use any combination of seasonings that you like. I added smoked paprika because I think it really adds a flavor to the chicken.

The light smokey flavor goes great with the other seasonings. I always buy smoked paprika in bulk- I use it in so many of my recipes. It’s an amazing ingredient!

Mayonnaise

You will need 1/4 cup of mayonnaise for this recipe. I recommend making your own keto mayonnaise.

Store bought mayonnaise often contains sugar and other unhealthy ingredients.
